Welcome!

Welcome to my blog - it's like a diary only better. This is my soapbox containing a collection of my thoughts and the experiences of my life raising twins.

Prior to this blog, prior to marriage and prior to the twinsanity that I now call my life, life was quite different for me. When you visit this blog, you won’t find me writing much about my life pre-twins – I hope that’s okay. Why? You ask. Because life with twins changes everything and my life pre-multiples is now just a dizzy, distant memory. And while it’s true that life years ago may have been a little more glamorous, the life I live now is a whole lot more rewarding and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I’m glad you’ve stopped by...there’s a really strong chance that I won’t offer anything extraordinary here, but by the same token there is also the possibility that you will experience a taste of the adventures, challenges and many joys that come with my life with twins. Hopefully that will be enough to bring you back here again.

Creeps, Weirdos & Other Blogosphere Jerks

I wish that I could include the Comments feature on my blog.

I had the feature available when I first launched the blog, but almost right away I began to get a little creeped out and freaked out by some of the folks visiting the blog. While some of the people visiting the site and leaving comments were perfectly harmless and welcome dialogue, there were a handful of visitors to the site that made me frankly very uncomfortable leaving me no other option than to deactivate the Comments feature.

I recall one weirdo in particular who posted some comments about his quest for a wife. Huh?! Talk about creepy!!!! I read this guy’s comments to me and was like: “Hey, jerk, didn’t you read the opening paragraphs on my blog that tells all about what a happily married girl I am?” And, what about my adoring praise of my loving husband as a truly wonderful man? Did you see that also?

And, so it was that I decided to eliminate the Comments feature. Because of some creepy dudes (I’m trying to be polite here) and their inappropriate comments, I just had no other choice. I apologize to those of you bloggers out there who want to leave a thought or comment but aren’t able to on my blog…but, it only takes one or two freaky jerks to ruin it for everyone.

And to you, creeps, weirdos and other blogosphere jerk posters out there, especially the dude who stopped by to let me know he’s looking for a wife, well please go find something better to do with your life than read about my family. And, by the way, I’m not on the market…I’m very happily married!

So, sorry to those of you who aren’t able to leave comments. I really, really love reading the comments people leave and perhaps I’ll revisit the Comments feature for my blog again at some point in the future….
