Welcome!

Welcome to my blog - it's like a diary only better. This is my soapbox containing a collection of my thoughts and the experiences of my life raising twins.

Prior to this blog, prior to marriage and prior to the twinsanity that I now call my life, life was quite different for me. When you visit this blog, you won’t find me writing much about my life pre-twins – I hope that’s okay. Why? You ask. Because life with twins changes everything and my life pre-multiples is now just a dizzy, distant memory. And while it’s true that life years ago may have been a little more glamorous, the life I live now is a whole lot more rewarding and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I’m glad you’ve stopped by...there’s a really strong chance that I won’t offer anything extraordinary here, but by the same token there is also the possibility that you will experience a taste of the adventures, challenges and many joys that come with my life with twins. Hopefully that will be enough to bring you back here again.

A Busy Saturday

I've been pretty busy today - first, mailing out the last of our Christmas gifts to family, then off to my favorite outlets to look for some steals for me. I found some great shirts at the Polo outlet store for waaaaaay cheap on the sale rack. Since I'm a stay-at-home mommy, I'm usually just running around in jeans and tees...the Polo ones at least give me some style. And, hey, I always love a bargain, so seeing my favorite long sleeve Polo tees on sale, well, I couldn't pass it up.

Anyways, later in the day, the girls and I went to one of my good friends houses to celebrate her daughter's 3 year old birthday. Paige and Taylor had a great time. I snapped a couple of photos of them in the bounce house - sorry but the pictures are a little blurry. (I guess I need to upgrade my camera to the latest Nikon camera that Ashton Kutcher is promoting on t.v. when he snaps away all these great action shots and says "BooooYa".)

Looking ahead to next week, I can't wait for this Christmas! Even though the girls are still so little, I hope the pictures we take will be meaningful to them in the future. I have always loved looking at family photos from Christmases past and I hope the pictures we take this year will be enjoyed by Paige and Taylor as they grow older.
